Responsibilities

  • Operate X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images requested by physicians.

  • Prepare patients by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety.

  • Position patients to capture optimal images while minimizing radiation exposure.

  • Follow radiation safety protocols to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and yourself.

  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, procedures, and results.

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss imaging findings and contribute to care plans.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (CMRITO, CAMRT).

  • Active certification as an X-ray or Radiologic Technologist (ARRT certification preferred).

  • Proficiency in medical terminology and imaging software.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday

  • Full-time: 40 hours per week (flexible hours available)

  • Part-time: Negotiable hours

  • Work Location: In-person at the clinic in North York, ON
